Frequently asked questions
How do they taste?
They taste like the single origin they come from — the dark roast is bold and full, the light is bright and fruity, and the classic is a smooth, balanced everyday cup.
How do I compost them?
After brewing, take the used pod out and add it to your home compost bin. The plant-based pod and the coffee grounds break down over time. They are not designed for landfill.
Is it a health product?
No. It is coffee in a compostable pod. Like any coffee, it contains caffeine (except the decaf). It is not a medicine and not intended to address any condition.
Will they work in my machine?
The pods are designed to work with the common pod coffee machines. If your machine uses a different pod size, check the compatibility before you order.
Are they truly single origin?
Yes. Each pod is filled with coffee from a single Colombian growing region, roasted and ground, so the cup carries the character of that one place.
What makes these pods compostable?
The pods are made from a plant-based, compostable material rather than plastic, and they hold real coffee grounds. After brewing, both the pod and the grounds break down in a home compost.
